Just updating for my post. You can run carplay while also using being in the rear entertainment mode.
It could be your logic failing.....I thought replacing the screen would solve this issue but it did not. Just sent in my radio to replace the logic board and hopefully it resolves the problem
You should just be able to go to bluetooth settings on your phone and disconnect from Hamilton Motor Company
Any update? Just bought and installed and this would be a major annoyance with switching who's playing music or navigating. The old head unit was relatively quick to switch users.

Are the echo adjustments found in the Hamilton OS settings ok to use? I hear zero echo on my end but a few people have mentioned themselves echoing on theirs.
