- This device is currently only compatible with devices that have the Navigation package. Your upper panel must show "MAP."
- The 2014-2016 Infiniti QX80 cars have a button that says "Info" (see picture). If yours says "APPS" instead of info, you need our 2017-2019 Infiniti QX80 Hamilton Upgrade Kit.

What do I need for this project? Is it DIY friendly?
We have many customers who DIY their own installations, and we design our products to be as DIY-friendly as possible. These are the tools needed for the job:
- 10mm socket, and socket wrench
- Small socket extension
- Long Phillips head screwdriver
- Plastic trim pry tool or credit card
- Towels for protection
For the 2014-2016 version, you do not need to open the metal casing on the screen. This is only the later 2017-2019 version. The 2017-2019 Infiniti QX80 cars have an APPS button instead of an INFO button.
Will this device support my factory 360 surround view cameras? Will there be any changes in functionality?
This device fully supports your factory 360 cameras and reverse camera. It will retain all your original safety features included with these camera systems, including parking sensors and driving assists (as equipped from factory).
Does the 2014-2016 Infiniti QX80 have CarPlay?
The 2014-2016 Infiniti QX80 did not ship from the factory with CarPlay but with the Hamilton Upgrade Kit for CarPlay and Android Auto, you can add it right onto your original screen. This device installs in about two hours (for most DIY customers) and will completely update the look and feel of your vehicle.
Can I play XM, FM, AM radios and have CarPlay showing on the screen?
You sure can. It is important to note the following: When you are streaming content from your phone, the navigation volume from your phone will mix into your music/streaming content. However, if you are listening to the factory XM, FM, AM, or CD channels, you can have CarPlay/Android Auto navigation showing on screen while you use these factory sealed audio channels, but the audio from CarPlay/AA navigation cannot mix into these factory sealed radio channels due to factory radio limitations.
