I am having an issue where there is a 2-3 second delay when shifting into reverse before the reverse camera video displays on the screen. Just wondering if this is normal, or if there is a way to fix this so that it comes up as quickly as the factory unit does.
There are plenty of little annoying quirks but most of them I can overlook for the added benefit of carplay. This one has been quite annoying.

Yes, seems to be a fairly recent occurance. (to me)
Had my unit installed for about 4 months now and did not notice it until recently. I do not recall it happening after install but it does seem to have a slightly delayed response now. I did one update (not all) in about October so its possible there was some software/firmware changes. The GX is not my daily driver so it is not something I would notice everyday.
Hamilton has been good about updating things so far and helped me a couple of times so hopefully the situation will sort itself out.
