I'm the owner of a 2018 Subaru Forester Touring and installed the upgrade kit recently. Everything appears to be working correctly except the track forward option using the head unit. It seems that using the steering wheel controls and the touchscreen buttons work fine to control music however when I use the physical track fwd button marked by ">> " the track will rewind to the beginning of the current track. Pressing the button immediately again within 3 seconds then the song will progress to the next track.
If you press the same track forward button after 4 seconds, it will always restart the same track in a similar fashon if you were to press the track back "<<" button. I'm seeing this issue while using Spotify and using a Pixel 9a
