I got the 2020-2024 premium head unit for the 4Runner and have been struggling.
When we turn on the headlights manually the reverse camera turns on on the screen and is all scrambled (not scrambled anymore, fixed that little part).
But the backup camera won't turn on when we put the car in reverse. Also the auto headlights/light sensor aren’t working.
CarPlay is working fine but I can't get the volume over 30 and it's so much quieter than before. Not sure what the issue is there.
I have the canbus adapter installed and wired everything what seems to be correctly. The USB adapter for the backup camera, the RCA cables, I'm not sure what else it could be. I reached out to customer service when they first opened this morning and haven't gotten a response to my ticket so I'm just trying every place to see if someone else can help me in the meantime.
