How to Update OS/MCU Hamilton Upgrade Kit
In this video we show how to update the OS/MCU in your Hamilton Upgrade Kit. Our team will also post a link where you can download the latest update files.
The Hamilton Upgrade Kits do not need to be updated by default, as the CarPlay features will naturally update as your iPhone updates. This is really only for if you are having a specific issue we need to solve.
Lexus GX Upgrade Kits (Copy all three onto FAT32 USB). Do not decompile.

@Dave hello. I have been enjoying the device for a couple of months and periodically the CarPlay just drops. Sometimes 30 seconds after startup. Sometimes randomly. About 10% of the time it reconnects itself. Sometimes if I go to the smartphone list and toggle off CarPlay and back on it'll reconnect. Sometimes I have to completely turn off the vehicle to get it to reconnect. Tried restarted iPhone to rectify and that's never worked. I have not done the software update and am wondering if you think it's a good idea. I can't figure out which is causing the issue the phone or the Hamilton. Advise? I have factory reset the Hamilton several times to try and solve this issue. I have "forgotten" the Bluetooth and deleted the WiFi network entirely and repaired yet it still happens occasionally.
