I recently got this unit installed by a Professional Installer. The issue I am having is when I make a phone call, the audio doesn't come through the car speakers. Only comes through the phone or speaker phone.
I also cannot connect the unit to a wifi connection. It just simply disconnects and turns wifi off.
There is one question that the installer had - is the tiny speaker the unit came with supposed to be installed? Is there an update I can manually do to fix the WiFi issue and in turn the call issue? Happens with iPhone and Samsung devices.
For our Lexus ES screens -
iPhones for CarPlay should be only connected to your new Hamilton BT, factory system in AUX mode. Factory BT forgotten.

Androids need to be connected to both the new Hamilton BT and the factory Lexus BT. Music is through new Hamilton BT, Aux mode. Calls are through factory Lexus BT.
What is the speaker?
It allows you to mix our navigation audio into your factory radio channels like FM, XM, or AM so CarPlay can play nagivation sounds while you listen to these.
WiFi?
CarPlay uses a proprietary WiFi/Bluetooth connection. You cannot be simultaneously connected to WiFi for another use and CarPlay

The installer gave me all the incorrect information.
Phone calls work using Car's Audio after connecting to Lexus infotainment system.
And wifi connects perfectly on Hamilton Device (it was automatically handshaking with my Android Phone via Android AP Network). So both issues resolved right away.
