Going great so far!

Installation was a breeze. I have been selling and installing these units now for almost 6 months now for our customers. Units work quick and very responsive. Amazing product, makes my car feel like the latest model. I also added the T-Mobile SIM card to use the Navi and Youtube. The install was also straight forward. Would definitely recommend it.

After installing it myself and using it. I have determined that it a must buy if you own a Lexus IS that’s doesn’t comes with Car play.

I only wish there was an YouTube for the install for mouse users. The current YouTube videos only show the knob version as well as a close up of the cables installed in the factory radio.

I never really write reviews but okay. The customer service is superb! I snapped a wire during my installation. I sent them an email and within a couple of hours I got a response! Sean was very helpful and within the same day the replacement harness was shipped with no additional charge! Very happy with the purchase and wished I did this a long time ago. Highly recommend!

The company was great, they answered all of my questions, the kit came complete, no problems with the installation, I did take the glove box out to help run the wire harness as the space was very limited.Taking out the glove box on this model vehicle made it much simpler to run the wire harness to the new monitor! Everything worked as advertised! This brought the Lexus up to date!

super quick and easy to install yourself only issue i would say is maybe better instructions but the product overall has been very realia le and durable no issues so far and it gives the vehicle a more modern feel

getting the system to automatically switch to apple carplay isn’t exactly straightforward, and requires you to change multiple settings without any description. i figured out how to do it but it was tedious. now that it does work the bluetooth connection is also slow to connect. aside from that i’ve had no issues with it and it’s a great system

This is an excellent upgrade. Install wasn’t too bad, just took some time. They’ve made it as easy as it can be.

My experience with this Hamilton Motor Company Conversion Kit was excellent! It worked great and I am really happy with the result. The installation was not the easiest because you have to fish wires through a narrow channel, but that is really an issue with the car rather than the kit.

Couldn't be happier with the new screen. I was impressed with the provided harnesses and love how it keeps OEM functionality with the mouse and steering wheel controls. The display quality looks great compared to the factory one and I find the mouse easier to use on the Hamilton unit.

The overall experience was very good, Plug and play made it so easy, The only problem was the space to put the connections thru is VERY tight lol, I had to end removing the OEM camera connection plug in order to pass it thru and then soldering it back. The unit itself works flawlessly. It would be nice to be able to Bypass the Parking brake switch in order to view music videos being that I live in the Philippines and we dont have a law that prohibits it.

Although it was a challenge getting everything working properly .. The customer service was excellent in my effort to get to the finish line ...

I absolutely love this apple CarPlay system from Hamilton, but what i like even more is their team, I had connection issues with my phone for a while and their team was able to send us step by step how to disconnect and reconnect the phone so that way there are no issues. I drove the car few times and every time it connects right away without any issues. Such a good upgrade that makes the car feel like new and great team that helps you resolve any issues right away. Definitely recommend.

My 15 year old was able to install this in his car. He had a few issues and had to take it apart and fix them. All in all he did it in 5 hours. One hour was spent trying not o feed the wires up. We had to take some breaks due to the garage being So HOT. Probably could have finished in 4 if it wasn’t so hot outside. Works well. We are happy we bought this one. Looked at several others.

Overall happy with the kit. Does exactly as described and works like OEM - parking sensors, backup cam, controls for radio, etc. Startup screen is a little slow to boot up, but after that, it’s snappy. The install on my 2014 IS250 was… frustrating. Lexus designed the car with basically no space to maneuver. So it was very difficult to install. An extra 6-12” extra inches on the jumpers would’ve helped. There would’ve been space for it.

Anyway, if you can find someone to install, I recommend taking to a shop and let a professional who’s done it a couple times before. If not, certainly doable yourself.

After just a few days, I can confidently say this system is excellent! Its voice control is incredibly quick, and it seamlessly integrates all factory functions. Going from a tiny screen without navigation to this massive display with a comprehensive map has made my time in the car enjoyable again. As someone who drives frequently, I've found it makes things much easier. The Amazon Music integration is excellent, and being able to see maps, music, and next directions all on one screen is fantastic. I highly recommend this to anyone considering selling their older Lexus just because of an outdated infotainment system.

Very happy with the end result. The installation on the Dutch IS300h is much more difficult though, as there is an ABS unit mounted to the bracket back on the screen. The cleavage to fit the cables through is blocked off more by the additional cables for ABS. Took me 5 hours to fit the cables through but it worked. The end result is super nice. I find the screen beautiful although the refresh rate/fps could be higher, like on a 2018 Volvo V90 (and I would have expected it for the price). I’m confident that this is the nicest upgrade available though and I would not hesitate to buy it again.

The screen upgrade was delivered super quick and is very easy to install. If you are looking to upgrade your small factory screen with no navigation, no Apple or Android car play to a much larger screen where you can connect your phone wirelessly to access a lot of different apps. You now have navigation and can see what is playing from your music apps. This is an upgrade to the look of your interior making it look like a newer vehicle inside. There is no delay in switching from apps or screens. Highly recommend!

I was hesitant to purchase a unit for my 2016 Lexus IS, but I'm glad I did. The installation videos and the prompt responses from Sean and Hunter helped me get my system working exactly as I wanted. My car feels 10 years newer with Apple Carplay.

Everything about this kit is better than the original screen and infotainment system. CarPlay works great. No complaints really.

This is a tremendous replacement head unit if you are wanting to use CarPlay, but not replace your older Lexus. I installed the unit myself in a couple of hours and have zero complaints. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to ditch the outdated infotainment system Lexus put in the 13-18 IS 250’s.

I accidentally ordered the wrong unit and when I contacted Hamilton they INSTANTLY gave me an exchange for the correct unit. Other than that the CarPlay unit I installed works so well. Thank you guys!

For hong kong 2018 is300 fsport rhd use?

I’ve had this system for about a month now. It works good and retains all the factory functionality, It feels like OE CarPlay. Install was very simple also

My first time installing this type of thing, so it is quite intimidating at first, but I did it. Hamilton's supports is fantastic with fast reply through email or phone call. Functionality of the screen is great, there are not really a delay like they mentioned, no lost in audio, and you can also connect the device to wifi. Now, I'm wondering if it is possible to connect this thing to a sim card.

Also, I wish they have an instructional manual explaining what each of the settings do.
