This complete Mercedes Automatic Climate Control Servo electronic replacement kit for Mercedes W116 and R107 models is an easy solution to the Mercedes Automatic Climate Control Servo and Amplifier that commonly fail, and leave you without heat or A/C. The installation manual is viewable at the bottom of this page.
Using modern printed circuit boards and microcontrollers, we have created a long-term solution for the problem-riddled W116 and R107 Mercedes Automatic Climate Control Heater Servo and Servo Amplifier. This replacement kit is less expensive than replacing the poorly designed W116 and R107 Mercedes Automatic Climate Control Heater Servo and Amplifier, or any other electronic upgrade kit on the market.
Our #1 priority with this product was to maintain the OEM function and looks inside the car, while drastically increasing both longevity and reliability. We accomplished this goal with an easy-to-install kit that replaces the W116 and R107 Mercedes Automatic Climate Control Heater Servo but leaves every other component in place except for the widely criticized Servo and Servo Amplifier. There are no significant "modifications" needed to install this unit, and no wire-splicing or other major electrical work required. Our kit allows you to keep the entire stock look and feel of your previous system in your W116 or R107 Mercedes. No changes are made to the interior of your automobile. You simply need to install a few wires across the amplifier connector, plug in the main unit in place of the failing W116 or R107 Mercedes Automatic Climate Control Heater Servo, and switch some hoses from the failing-servo to our replacement valve.
We only use the highest quality parts. These parts include medical-grade electric servos to control the vacuum for the cabin vents and the heater valve. Additionally, we use name-brand microcontrollers and relays. Our replacement kit is truly engineered to stand the test of time.
Our Mercedes Climate Control Servo Electronic Upgrade Kit was designed in Stuttgart, Germany and is manufactured in the USA.
Our system will not function properly if your car has major vacuum leaks. If there are cracked diaphragms or leaking lines, just like the original system, our unit will appear defective. With typical minor vacuum leaks, the system should function. Please contact us if you are uncertain of your car's vacuum system, and we will be happy to discuss it with you!

I would like to comment on non-product portion of my experience. I purchased it to surprise my father with it. But only to find out that the car was just sold :( I reached out to Hamilton Motor Company and they were more than accommodating. The return policy was seamless and professional. I even received a shipping return label. Thank you.
Installed In The Past
I am an auto tech of 45+ years. I have installed thiese in the past and they work very well. I have come across a new car to me a 1978 300 CD I will install this sometime this fall. I have never had a problem with the working of them in coustomers cars
Worked perfect right from the start!!!
The instructions said this wouldn't fix my issue of having defrost only, but it did. I can understand if you have vacuum leaks it may not, but if you have a broken chyrsler product, anything is better! I bought the unit before the 79 450SL went into storage so I just had it sitting around. The wife was going to take it on it's first drive of spring mainly because her car was in the shop! She pulled it out to clean it up a bit so I ran out to make sure all was good for the first trip. I started remembering all the things that needed to be fixed, like the radio and the heat controls. We've only had hot air pour out of everywhere with only fan on defrost since we bought it. It was a cold day when we got it, so it was better than nothing! When we took it on a road trip during an unusually warm day, i had to stop to get a clamp to shut of the heater hose! When she got back I dove in on getting the magic box installed! (and pull the amp while I was behind the glove box) It was late so I packed up and got another go at it tonight. I followed along with the instructions; step by step. All went smoothly and it tested out great! The wife ran out to experience heating control for the first time! Some things to consider when buying/installing this unit: -It would have been nice to have instructions in the box, or at least a piece of paper stating where to get the instructions. -Obviously some things have changed since the instructions were written: -Hoses aren't colored but have colored tape (if you cut them shorter, the tape is gone) -Telling me I can squeeze the clear hose into the factor plastic vacuum line is crazy! I put a needle nose pliers in the clear hose to stretch it to do the opposite! -The modified plastic case is a little worrisome as the circuit board is exposed to the engine bay elements, like a big puddle splash. -There is no mention of all the red lights that are shining away! I hope that is a good thing... a little out of place in the 79 engine bay... -I hooked up the electric connections before the vacuum connections since those big old plugs took a little muscle to get them to seat. -It would be nice to have some more clearer picture and drawings. I was confused about connecting the heater valve since my heater hoses were already disconnected and I didn't hook up my aux coolant pump since less heat is more for me right now! Other than that, it wasn't a bad install at all Good luck and thank you for great product!
Great Service and Product
First one I received did not work quite right, but I was sent a replacemtn unit promptly, which fixed all the issues. Installation took about 1.5 hours and works superbly; no longevity issues as of yet! Was expensive, but for a good car, it is money well spent for comfort and improved operation all around.
