I really wanted CarPlay and Hamilton Motors delivered. I have a 2015 Lexus ES 350. Love the car. I installed the Hamilton Head Unit this afternoon. Installation video was very helpful. I was able to install it in 2 hours. Now I have CarPlay and I couldn’t be happier. My car feels new again. Fantastic product and the fit and finish look stock.

A game changer. I was seriously considering buying another vehicle as the old Lexus non-Apple Play system was stuck in the past. With the Hamilton, my love for my Lexus is back! A game changer.

It’s amazing how much CarPlay can do. The hardest thing was the panel clips for the screen shroud, and clipping the screen in place. Otherwise everything else was pretty smooth. Works well. Less than 2.5 hours to install. Looking forward to driving with the Hamilton unit. Wow, the map size is so nice. And rearview camera comes in cleanly. I used a dremel to slit the opening on the glovebox, that was recommended in the video and the usb cable has better access. The only thing I would recommend is getting a tool to help with the screen shroud panel plugs that are upside down. Also when removing the cover below the head unit, I watched a different video that had you start on the left side with a cred card or pry tool, and that proved to be the better approach.

So far I’m pleased.

There is one thing to note. Prior to this, if you are used to the factory mouse magically navigating to your intended item, this upgrade behaves more like a free form mouse that doesn’t magically click onto the next items. It’s more like your computer mouse. This is where the touchscreen helps……or use the voice command button and just ask Siri to do what you need. The use of the voice command is where the real power of hands free comes into play. Google more about the use of voice command for CarPlay. Once you do, use of the mouse should be minimal.

So far so good; install was about 2.5 hr and the product has worked well for about a month now

Our installer did not update the software which caused us to call support at Hamilton for a couple of minor issues. Hunter the tech support person was awesome and assisted us through the update and fine tuning the unit to my wife preferences!

Quality of the unit is great. Snappy and fast once boots. Takes about 20 sec from car on to CarPlay active. Had an issue with the backlighting not synced with car headlights and contacted support. Hunter was great walking me thru fixing it.

Had installed professional by Car Audio Zone (Houston). Screen looks OEM and works great as I expected. So far no real issues. Sitting in Houston traffic won’t be as painful, with my new system. Kudos to Dave for all his quick responses to my emails.

Hamilton Motor Company delivered a great product. It works just as I had hoped. The only problems I had were getting it set up to work as I wanted it to. But, I got quick and great help by email and telephone from Hamilton Motor to address them. Great experience!

I'm still waiting on it after ordering cyber monday and getting wrong one.
