Yes. The Hamilton Conversion Kit does support aftermarket audio setups. It has an optical port for aftermarket amplifiers, as well as 5-channel RCA support.
This device fully supports FM and AM radio bands. It does not support XM radio or CDs. If you need XM radio channels and are in a radio with 4G coverage, you can download the XM app and stream XM channels via the app.

These are part of your factory radio and are not available on the Hamilton Conversion Kit
2. Factory maintenance tracking app on center screen
Your original dash warning lights and maintenance notifications on your dash will remain in place. The infotainment maintenance app is part of the original radio, however, and will not be available on the Hamilton Conversion Kit.
3. Factory Toyota Entune traffic/weather features
These factory traffic and weather features will not be available on the Hamilton Conversion Kit.
I installed the Hamilton Conversion kit into my 2014 Rav4 today. The installation took about an hour and was very straightforward. Everything worked perfectly on the first try. The screen is crisp and clear. It has the heft and feel of a well-built piece of equipment. Only drawback is decidedly ho-hum radio screen with station and track information in barely visible scrolling letters. Android Auto works beautifully. I have a couple small set-up questions that I'm sure support will clear up for me tomorrow. Overall, excellent.

The conversion was easy to install and the capabilities are more than before. I am still exploring the capabilities but thongs I am working on is tuning the equalizer,a nd getting the map functions to work to my liking. I also that it has a way to see tire pressure and just set my radio channels. So all works with more capability what I had before.

Received the unit quickly and it was relatively simple to install. I relied on the Hamilton video instructions. Additional written instructions would have been helpful as I had a difficult time figuring how to use the FM/AM tuner. Unit works well and makes my 2018 Rav4 feel new.

Had no idea what Android Auto was, but in a matter of days have completely fallen in love with it. Way better than the base radio I had in my Toyota Rav4 Limited. Super easy to install. I did it on my own just by watching the how to YouTube video made by Hamilton.

I just installed a conversion kit in my wife's 2015 Rav4. It totally changes the car! As my wife said, "it's like getting a new car!"
Installation was easy. I followed the video step by step and was able to complete the entire job in just over an hour. I could have finished faster, but I wanted to make sure I did everything correctly. I did not want to try to remove the new unit because I made an error. I did watch the entire video before I started , then played it again as I did the install. I did call support because of the labeling on one of the wires. They answered right away and gave me accurate guidance.
The new unit works as advertised and we are very happy with it. I do have a couple little criticisms. A couple of the controls on the steering wheel work opposite of how they used to. Such as while streaming music, the button on the steering wheel that is used to skip to the next song is switch with the button to start the song over. The phone "hang up'" button does not work. My biggest issue is we can't see the screen with polarized sunglasses on. I wish they would orientate the polarized lines in the screen to be compatible with sun glasses. I ordered a diffusing screen protector the help with this issue. It has not arrived yet so I can't say if it solves the problem.
All in all, I highly recommend this product. Most important, the wife is happy.

we put this in my daughters 2018 rav4. took her and I less than an hour. honestly it's a great piece of equipment. the only annoying thing is the delay setting up BT for each device the first time. but once you do it once it works fast. so minor inconvenience.

When the OEM head unit on my 2017 RAV4 failed, I went searching for options to replace it. I was interested in a vehicle-specific solution if there was one. I purchased this unit after visiting the Hamilton website, watching their product videos, and liking what I saw about the company. I was able to install it myself by taking my time and thinking through what was shown and described in the installation video. After a successful installation, I contacted tech support mostly regarding Android Auto/CarPlay interactions, and they were very responsive. The product itself appears well-built and functions properly. I look forward to learning about all of its capabilities.
