Policy for Customers of Authorized Installers

Hamilton Motor Company (“Hamilton”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is a retailer of retrofit and replacement automotive kits and parts.  While we seek to assist our customers (“you” or “your”) in the smooth and efficient installation of our products in your vehicles, you are ultimately responsible for the skillful and successful installation of our products—whether you do that installation on your own or employ the assistance of a technician. 

To support those who prefer the assistance of a skilled technician, we have partnered with local automotive shops across the U.S. and Canada (our “Authorized Installers”), listed on our website at www.hamiltonmotorcompany.com/pages/find-an-installer.  We work with our Authorized Installers to support them in installing our products into customer vehicles. 

No Liability for Authorized Installers 

We recommend our Authorized Installers to all of our customers on our website, and our customers generally see positive results from working with them.  Nonetheless, as a retailer of automotive parts, we do not provide any guarantees or other contractual assurances regarding your experience with our Authorized Installers.  We are not responsible for any fees paid to our Authorized Installers or work performed by our Authorized Installers—including any damage done to your vehicle by an Authorized Installer or any other claims you might have against an Authorized Installer.  Work performed by our Authorized Installers is not work performed by or on behalf of Hamilton.  You agree that you will not hold Hamilton responsible for any such claims related to work performed by Authorized Installers.

Our Authorized Installers may be responsible directly to you under their own contractual relationship with you, and we encourage you to review the terms and conditions of any such relationship. 

Customer Support

If you have a negative experience with one of our Authorized Installers, please reach out to us to let us know.  We will do our best to remedy the situation (as we are able and at our discretion). 

As with all Hamilton products, our Warranty Policy extends to our products sold through our Authorized Installers, so we are happy to work with you or your Authorized Installer on any warranty claim, return request or other inquiry through our normal process.  As described in our Warranty Policy and our Return Policy, we are not responsible for payments made by our customers to any third-party, including Authorized Installers.
