I installed a Hamilton apple CarPlay on my 2018. Lexus Nx300 and everything came out perfect. I was a bit worried that i would not be able to install it myself. If you watch the video that is on the Hamilton website and follow the instructions step by step you will be able to install this unit by yourself and safe on the installation charge from an installer. I took me about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. I would recommend watching the set up video once your unit is installed. I am so excited to finally have Apple CarPlay allowing me to use Apple Maps and Spotify. This unit is absolutely incredible and whoever did these videos did a great job doing a step by step instructions on the installation process. I would recommend getting an auto trim removal tool from Amazon (they are about $5) to help remove a few trim pieces.
I am so happy I found Hamilton Motor Company. I could not be happier with my Lexus CarPlay conversion kit. The kit is more of an upgrade. I now have a touchscreen, both wireless and wired CarPlay. The screen fits perfectly and works exactly as I hoped it would.

Love having CarPlay!! The old Lexus nav was HORRIBLE and despised using it. After installing the Hamilton system, I enjoy driving my Lexus again.
The quality of this product is great. The screen was well packed and protected.
The installation process is well documented, and easy to follow. I was able to complete my installation following the steps along with the YouTube video. I only had two challenging parts - first one, screwing the screen back on with the new screws. Aligning those was hard, since the new screen it’s very wide. Once I got those down everything else was fairly simple.
Being able to reinstall the cover that’s below the start/stop button was surprisingly hard. I waited til the next day in the morning to have better light and with fresh eyes and less frustration I was able to get it back on without breaking anything.
It’s important to follow the steps provided right after you turn it on for the first time.
So far, it looks great and feels great.
