What is required for installation on the 2014-2017 Honda Odyssey Hamilton Upgrade Kit for CarPlay® and Android Auto™?
This device is designed to be installed by DIY owners, and we have a full installation video available here.
The full installation is plug-n-play. There is no splicing or wiring cutting required.
Tools required for the job:
- 8mm socket, 10mm socket, and socket wrench
- Long Phillips head screwdriver
- Plastic trim pry tool or credit card
- Towels for protection
We suggest watching the installation video and pairing and setup videos before starting the installation.

Does this support my 2014-2017 Honda Odyssey if I do not have the dual screen system shown in your pictures?
Not at this time. Currently, we only support the dual screen system shown in our pictures. These are typically found on the higher trim versions of Honda Odyssey. If you have any questions, you can send our team a picture of your screen before starting.

Does this device retain my original Honda LaneWatch™ and/or backup camera?

Does the 2014-2017 Honda Odyssey have CarPlay?
While the 2014-2017 Honda Odyssey does not ship from the factory with CarPlay, you can add it with the Hamilton Upgrade Kit for CarPlay® and Android Auto™. This is a plug-n-play solution designed by world class engineers to add wireless and wired CarPlay and Android Auto right onto your factory screen without compromising your factory features.
Will I hear sound from navigation apps on my iPhone when streaming with XM, FM, or AM radios?
When you are streaming content from your phone, the navigation volume from your phone will mix into your music/streaming content. However, if you are listening to the factory XM, FM, AM, or CD channels, you can have CarPlay/Android Auto navigation showing on screen while you use these factory sealed audio channels, but the audio from CarPlay/AA navigation cannot mix into these factory sealed radio channels due to factory radio limitations.
