CarPlay Overview and Setup
I got this exact head unit for my 2016 Toyota Tundra on 9/16/26 and I love it! It's awesome and has so many great features! I followed these exact steps and it was a piece of cake! Great and concise instruction video. I have an iPhone so I use CarPlay and the features are great! Another cool thing is that you can actually connect your hotspot to it and watch YouTube and all while you're driving (although I'm not encouraging it haha). It has a lot of cool features too like for audio and stuff. It also shows if a door is open on the screen and has some vehicle features and options that it shows on there too. Would totally recommend!
Side note: I can’t believe there are not more reviews of this unit! I hardly write reviews but dang this thing is nice and super responsive! I just had too. They shipped this thing quick too!
Looks great, works great, and easy to install. Only downside is lack of a physical rotary dial for volume,takes longer to lower via steering wheel, and I find myself constantly reaching for one that is no longer there.
