No, you do not. This kit includes everything you need. The new Apple Carplay interface is built right into the screen replacement. It is a complete kit.

Did the Lexus RX come from the factory with Apple Carplay between 2016 and 2019?
Lexus did not offer Apple Carplay as a factory option between 2016 and 2019. Our complete screen replacement kit adds Apple Carplay and Android Auto functionality to your Lexus RX350, Lexus RX450h, Lexus RX350L, RX350 F Sport, RX450hL, or RX450 F-Sport.
This brand new 12.3 inch screen fits right in place of your factory unit and preserves all factory functions and controls, while providing you with the features and interface of a brand new Lexus.
Is your kit only compatible with the Lexus RX350?
Our kit is compatible with all trims and all versions of the Lexus RX ranging from 2016 to 2019. If your car wasn't manufactured during this time, we still have other kits that may work for you.
Will this kit work with my 360 degree camera?
Yes, if you had the 360 degree camera from factory, simply select that option from our menu. We have a version that is fully compatible with your 360 degree camera for your Lexus RX.
